Our relationship with Savong's School started when we spent Christmas in Siem Reap in 2006. During the trip we met Savong Svay, a local man with an altruistic love for the children of his community. Savong had recently started a small school of 3 classrooms, with the goal of teaching them English & Japanese. He realized that these language skills would immensely improve opportunities for local children. Savong's dream was an inspiration to us. We wanted to be a part of his dream, and be able to contribute to making it a reality.
That is why we donate some of our profits to Savong's school. We sponsor 5 Cambodian children, and are always on the look out for more generous sponsors, both for the school and Savong's orphanage which houses 30 children. We collect donations; children's English books, school materials, clothes, sheets, and money to distribute to them when we visit every December.
